ABOUT FLATLINE
Hello, my name is Darian, owner and registered nurse (RN) at Flatline Behavioral Health and Mobile IV Therapy.
After years of living and adventuring through mountains in the West Coast, I have grasped firsthand how intense, exhilarating and demanding the rural mountain lifestyle can be. I understand the cumulative impact of routine physical exertion, cold temperatures, high altitude, isolation and high-impact mountain sports have on both physical health and mental well-being. As a registered nurse and mountain athlete, I am deeply passionate about improving mental health outcomes while supporting locals and mountain enthusiast in their physical recovery to keep our Steamboat Springs community active, energized, passionate and on to the next adventure with a positive resilient mindset.
OUR STORY
The constant weight of daily responsibilities, pressures and the fast pace of life, can lead many individuals to feeling burnt out, disconnected, and overwhelmed. Overtime, momentum is lost without noticing - physical and mental health are neglected, passions fade, isolation increases and adventure takes a backseat. Instead of experiencing life’s highs and lows, individuals fall into a state of autopilot, moving through the motions of daily tasks just like a flatline.
This reality is observed to be quite prominent in seasonal rural communities, just like ours here in Steamboat Springs, CO. Long winters, demanding jobs and seasonal lifestyle can create an intense routine that can be difficult to sustain, while access to mental health care and physical recovery options remain limited. Flatline wants to bridge this gap, addressing the challenges rural mountain communities face by providing accessible, affordable private mental health care and providing wellness recovery options, so individual keep seeking adventure and pursue all the opportunities our beautiful mountain town has to offer with a healthy mind and body.
OUR MISSION
Flatline was founded on a two-pronged model: to make high-quality psychiatric care accessible for Routt County residents and seasonal workers, and to deliver IV hydration and recovery services that support the health and resilience of our mountain community. Through Flatline Behavioral Health, individuals ages 10 and above can access compassionate, confidential psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments through convenient Telehealth visits — overcoming challenges to access, stigma and limited resources. Flatline Mobile IV Therapy Services brings elective wellness IV and injections packed with fluids, electrolytes and vitamins right to your door, administered by our team for Registered Nurses (RN) to aid in quick effective recovery, illness prevention and restore energy.
